Wausau School District

Science Teacher

I have been a biology teacher in the Wausau School Disrict since 1998.  I have the pleasure to teach students in a variety of life science courses including general biology (bio 1), IB Bio 1, field biology, human anatomy and physiology, and horticulture.  I also manage and facilitate operations of the Wausau East Greenhouse.

I completed my undergraduate training at UW - Stevens Point where I earned  a B.S. degree in Wildlife Management and Biology and minored in Resource Management and German.  I then went on to earn my M.A. in education at Viterbo University in LaCrosse, WI.  I began my teaching career  in Three Lakes, WI before joining the Wausau School District 23 years ago.

I am fortunate to be able to work with students, teaching them about subjects that double as personal interests for me.  I enjoy a wide variety of outdoor interests including camping, hiking, hunting and fishing. In addition I enjoy drawing/painting, reading, and photography.

I have included my daily shedule for  the 2020/2021 school year below.
