Wausau School District

Principal, Wausau East High School

I am honored to serve the students, staff, parents and community as principal of Wausau East High School.  I consider myself blessed to work in a vibrant, rigorous, enthusiastic and diverse school environment with a staff truly committed to helping every student reach their full potential.  As principal, I assume primary responsibility for the academic and personal growth and development of our students through our tremendous instructional and co-curricular programs.  I am also responsible for the professional growth and development of our professional staff.  As principal, I am very proud that the core values of respect, integrity, compassion and excellence form the bedrock of our character, provide us with strength, regulate our behavior, and unite every Lumberjack to meet any challenge and succeed.

My professional career began as an English and Speech teacher in Joliet, Illinois and then at Wausau East High School. During this time, I coached football and baseball.  I started my administrative career as an associate principal at Eau Claire Memorial High School. Next, I served as an associate principal at Wausau East High School before assuming the principalship in January of 1996.  I will soon be celebrating my 21st year as principal of Lumberjack High.

Academic preparation for my career includes a Bachelor of Science degree in English and Communication Arts, a Masters degree in Educational Administration and a PhD in Educational Administration - all from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.  Go Badgers!

Without question, my proudest accomplishment is my family.  I am happily married with 2 children.  Together, we hunt, fish, enjoy many different sports, camp and travel.  My personal interests include learning, reading, sports, exercising, hunting, fishing, flyfishing, spending time at our hunting cabin, and being a proud fan of the New York Yankees!

I can be reached anytime during the day at 715-261-0672.  My email is [email protected]  My home telephone number is 715-845-3276. Please don't ever hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about our school. I am happy to serve you and be of assistance.

Sincerely,

Bradley J. Peck, Ph.D.
