Hello, my name is Jodi Salzer. I have been in the education field for 23 years.  I received my Bachelor of Art degree from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis where I majored in United Sattes History and minored in Physical Anthropology.  Upon completion of my Bachelor's I went on to the University of Wisconsin - Stevens point where I received my lteaching licences in History, Broadfield Social Studies, and Anthroplogy.  There I continued with my licensure in Learning Disabilities, Emotional/Behavoral Disabilities and Cognitive Disabilities as well as earning my Master of Science degree in Special Education.  Over the last 25 years I have worked in both Special Education and general eduaction.  My early years of experience were as a Cross-Categorical teacher in the school districts of Abbotsford, Marathon City, Rhinelander and Merrill school districts, which are all located in Wisconsin.  While at Merrill, I was also contracted to teach World and United States history grades 9 and 10. Currently I am employed with the Wausau School District.  This is my fifth year of employment at Horace Mann Middle School as a Children with Autism and Related Educational Needs (C.A.R.E.) and Intellectual Disabilities specialist.I can be reached between the hours of 7:10 AM and 3:10 PM.  My telephone number is 715-261-0743 but I can be best reached by email at [email protected],org.
